Security

Where your data lives, how it's protected, and who else can see it — in plain language.

Where your data lives

BridgeMail runs on infrastructure in Nuremberg, Germany, hosted by Netcup GmbH — inside the EU. Your email content, attachments, and business records are stored there, not scattered across random cloud regions.

Encryption

Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) between your browser, your mailbox, and our servers, and encrypted at rest on disk. Mailbox credentials are never stored in plain text.

Tenant isolation

Every customer’s data is isolated per tenant. Your emails, contacts, and documents are never visible to another company using BridgeMail — there is no shared pool that other tenants can query into.

Email sending

BridgeMail never sends an email on your behalf without an explicit human action — a reply you approve, a message you send, or a rule you configured yourself. Nothing goes out silently.

Who else touches your data

A short list of the subprocessors involved in running the Service: Clerk (sign-in and account authentication), Netcup (hosting, EU), and an AI model provider used for document extraction (reading purchase orders and invoices). Each is bound by contract to process data only for the purpose described.
